About thirty CWI researchers currently hold part-time professorships in their area of research at ten Dutch universities, where they contribute to the teaching and supervision of university students. See the overview of CWI's current involvement in teaching courses (pdf) in the Netherlands. CWI researchers also contribute to the national MasterMath and Landelijk Netwerk Mathematische Besliskunde teaching programmes. If you are a master student and interested in working with our researchers on a MSc project, than please take a look at our current MSc projects.
Our professors
CWI is connected to the Dutch Universities. Many of our researchers have a part-time appointment at a Dutch university.
In addition, CWI researchers regularly move on to universities. Since the establishment of CWI in 1946, over 230 CWI researchers have become full-time professors at thirteen universities in the Netherlands (or abroad): TU Delft, TU Eindhoven, University of Twente, University of Amsterdam, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Leiden University, Utrecht University, Erasmus University Rotterdam, University of Groningen, Radboud University, Maastricht University, Wageningen University & Research, Tilburg University.
Please note that educational activities are carried out under the responsibility and ownership of the Dutch universities.
