Amsterdam Data Science (ADS) is organizing a special Drinks & Data meetup at the SIGMOD/PODS 2019 conference. The event will be in English and is open to all.
The speakers are:
- Matei Zaharia, original creator of Apache Spark, assistant professor at Stanford, and Chief Technologist and Co-Founder of Databricks.
- Xin Luna Dong, Principal Scientist at Amazon, leading the Amazon Product Knowledge Graph, and previously involved in Google’s Knowledge Vault.
- Deep Kayal, Senior Data Scientist at Elsevier, specializing in Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning.
The latter two talks will touch on knowledge base construction, the first on infrastructures for machine learning.
