Quantum position verification aims to use quantum information to find out where someone is with cryptographic security. This is one possible (exciting) application of quantum communication, which might go beyond what's possible with classical communication. I will give a personal account of some foundational results on the topic that were obtained by Harry - showing where we have been and where we're (hopefully securely) going.
