About 5 years ago I embarked on this journey with Harry (and others) to extend the topic of fine-grained complexity into the quantum world. While the motivation of this project had clear practical relevance to the quantum community, there lurked a tiny fear that this project could be just 'too easy' - what if the already known classical results trivially quantize? Luckily (for us), this wasn't the case and what followed was the (most) fun 4 years of PhD solving these quantum hurdles with Harry.
