On Saturday 18 October 2008 Science Park Amsterdam was open to the public. CWI also participated and challenged the visitors to crack the code of a safe.
There was a number of entertaining activities in the theme ‘Crack the Code'. To unravel the code of a safe with mathematics, did you ever think about that? On Science Day many visitors gave it a shot. CWI also offered mini colleges to discover more about the secrets of codes. There was a lecture about how security is arranged in internet banking.
