Research carried out by the Networks and Optimization (N&O) group from CWI has resulted in several contributions to the 22nd Conference on Integer Programming and Combinatorial Optimization, IPCO 2021: three presentations of research papers and the award in the Student Poster Competition. IPCO is a yearly conference, held under the auspices of the Mathematical Optimization Society, that offers a forum for researchers and practitioners working on various aspects of integer programming and combinatorial optimization.
The program of IPCO consists of oral presentations based on 33 selected papers by the Program Committee, that are also published in the Proceedings of the conference.
The N&O group has contributed three out of these 33 selected papers:
1) Sander Borst, Daniel Dadush, Sophie Huiberts, and Samarth Tiwari.
- Paper: On the Integrality Gap of Binary Integer Programs with Gaussian Data
- Presentation video
- Short video
2) Niv Buchbinder, Christian Coester and Joseph (Seffi) Naor.
- Paper: Online k-Taxi via Double Coverage and Time-Reverse Primal-Dual
- Presentation video
- Short video
3) Lucas Slot and Monique Laurent.
In addition, Luis Felipe Vargas is the Winner in the Student Poster Competition for his poster presentation on the work:
