Curry On is a non-profit conference intended to improve cooperation between academia and industry on the topic of programming languages and related challenges. It seeks to act as a conduit for ferrying understanding and ideas back and forth between industry and academic programming languages, software engineering, and systems research communities.
The talk by Van der Storm focused on Rascal, a meta-programming language developed by the SWAT group at CWI. It is a unique in being a single tool for the analysis, transformation and generation of source code for all programming languages.
