Tim Baarslag, who is part of CWI’s Intelligent and Autonomous Systems research group, has given a lecture for the 'Universiteit van Nederland' (University of the Netherlands). The lecture can now be viewed online.
Baarslag’s lecture was part of a five episode series on the subject of 'convenience'. His talk focused on automated negotiators. How can we let computers negotiate for us? Baarslag mentions a wide variety of applications, from serious (buying a house) to tongue-in-cheek examples (picking the perfect date).
