Biography
Irene is content editor and communications advisor at CWI. She started as a journalist for the Belgian national newspaper De Morgen and worked for Amsterdam UMC (formerly Academic Medical Center) for almost 25 years. At the UMC, she was spokesperson for the two largest divisions of the hospital and editor-in-chief of the external journal. She was also partly responsible for the website amsterdamumc.org. At CWI, she is responsible for cwi.nl and social media. Besides that she is available for advice on communicating scientific research.
